Dr. David Dodson, M.D., FACP
Dr. Dodson has practiced Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease in West Palm Beach since 1985. He is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia and his Infectious Disease Fellowship at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he also worked at the Yale Tropical Medicine clinic. Dr. Dodson is double board-certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. In 1985, he founded the Travelers Medical Service in West Palm Beach and has counseled thousands of travelers over the years. He is, also, a graduate of Cornell University’s Plant Based Nutrition program. Dr. Dodson served as Chairman of the Governing Board of Good Samaritan Hospital and has been Chief of Staff at Good Samaritan Hospital, St. Mary’s Hospital, and Intracoastal Health System. He has been affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. His educational activities have included over 200 TV and radio interviews. He has been recognized as a Best Doctor by Castle Connolly Guide, a Top Doc by Miami Metro magazine, and a Top Doctor by South Florida Magazine. He has served on the Board of Directors of FoundCare, Palm Healthcare Foundation and Hope House. He is powered by a vegan diet, competes in triathlons, and enjoys medical antiques and world travel.
