Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate appointment for an X-ray?
Usually not. When your physician orders a chest X-ray or other plain X-ray, it can often be done in our office during the same visit, and the images are available right away.
Can I see the same doctor for primary care and an infection?
Yes. Our physicians are board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious disease, so the doctor who knows your overall health can also manage a complicated infection.
How far ahead should I book a travel medicine visit?
About two months before you leave, because some vaccines require several doses. If your trip is sooner, call anyway; last-minute protection and advice still help.
